Well folks, it looks like the release of my 2nd CD with all NEW original music, is now on the street after some last minute touch-ups on the final mix. Truth be told, it’s been an exciting project to work on with some amazing musicians and special guests popping in to lend a helping hand!! Most of the musical arrangements for this new CD were put together by my close friend, Mr. Hajimu Takeda, who also served as the Musical Director for my 1st CD, “Nothing Else Feels So Right”.
I’m also happy to say that 2 songs on the new CD showcase the talents of the Jazz-Fusion super group SubFive, who hail from Stockholm, Sweden. These guys are an amazing bunch of musicians who were brought in to perform on my CD and were responsible for the great arrangements of the songs, “A Minor Obsession” and “Can’t Forget About Love”. Members of SubFive also mixed a little session work with some studio cats who were brought in from Tokyo, creating some collaborative grooves on the tracks, “After The Rain”, and the new CD’s title track, “C’mon Feel The Groove”.
If you want to hear what it all sounds like, you’ll find song clips posted under the “Music” tab located above in the main menu. The CD's release will occur nationally across Japan in 2009, and then move across the Pacific to the U.S. and abroad via Apple iTunes, Amazon.com and CD Baby in 2010. I really hope you enjoy what you hear, because we had a great time putting it all together!! More to follow. But until then,...
